Dr. Dale Rucker is our senior hydrologist/geophysicist. Dale joined HGI in the spring of 2004, where he has been responsible for technical oversight and scientific investigations. Dale graduated from West Virginia Tech in 1989 with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and from West Virginia University in 1993 with a MSc in Environmental Engineering. After graduation, he worked on the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) as a groundwater modeler for the Environmental Evaluation Group in Albuquerque, NM. In 2003, Dale completed a doctorial degree in Hydrology and Water Resources from the University of Arizona. His primary research was on the use of borehole ground penetrating radar in obtaining hydrological parameters during transient water flow experiments. Dale continues his research and development background by continually innovating techniques for data processing and modeling that are implemented for production purposes. Much of Dale’s research can be viewed in industry publications and journals that will be available for download. |
